I create art in the theme of "Paradise." Paradise helps people see beauty in an often frustrating world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I like to create art that makes people feel happy, like there is something to look forward to. I want people to see beauty in creation. My favorite subjects are animals, birds and butterflies.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature and everything natural, not in man made structures and plans. I am always thinking of new ideas to put on paper. I also find small slices of petrified wood and make jewelry with it where I draw very small pen and ink trees on the petrified wood and make necklaces with the art on petrified wood. It comes from the ground. Petrified wood is not man made.
What would you do with $25,000?Well, I have a nonprofit wolfdog sanctuary so it would help me buy a large format printer so I could produce my own art prints to sell to help support our animals here at the sanctuary. We currently have 43 wolfdogs here. My husband passed away three years ago due to ALS so holding on to my property and being able to keep the sanctuary going is nothing short of a miracle. A large format printer would be amazing.
