I create exuberant oil paintings driven by color, movement, and design. My work moves between abstraction and the human figure, using form to express energy rather than simply describe it. I paint instinctively, but the finished piece must resolve into something both visually clear and emotionally stimulating. I have to love it—completely—before I consider it finished.

My inspiration comes from daily life living and working on a boat in a working harbor near the surf. The motion of the ocean and the breeze don’t just influence my ideas—they physically affect the act of painting itself. I work within that constant movement: shifting light, changing wind, and the rhythm of water against the hull. It keeps me connected to something immediate and real, and that energy finds its way into every piece.

I would invest it directly into my work—securing a dedicated studio where I can paint larger and without limitation. I love painting in the open air on my boat, but I would also value a more stable space to work any time, day or night. The rest would go toward materials and submitting my work to galleries and exhibitions.My goal is simple: to live fully immersed in the act of creating and to push my work to its next level.
