I create to stay connected—to myself, to others, and to something deeper. It’s where I find meaning, truth, and a sense of home.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create oil paintings of nature because it’s how I stay connected—to the land, to myself, and to something larger. Through color, movement, and animals, I explore the threads that bind us all. My work is about awareness—remembering we are not separate from nature, but part of its living, breathing rhythm.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by being fully present—observing nature, watching how things move and connect, and experiencing life as it unfolds. Those moments change how I see. They bring an awareness of the living world’s energy and our connection to it, and that’s what drives my work.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d create an immersive exhibit built around my pollinator garden paintings—exploring creativity as a living, connected system. With sound baths, journaling, and drawing, I’d invite people to slow down and reconnect. I’d also bring in other artists, so it becomes a shared space—many voices, one living experience.
