I’m drawn to creating nature inspired work that blends organic textures with expressive detail. My art often centers on wildlife and natural landscapes, with a strong appreciation for earthy materials and tactile processes. I also enjoy experimenting with botanical and mixed medium pieces, including living installations, and handcrafted wood burn designs that bring more rustic, immersive field to my work.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the hard times and the good times ; whether or not I need to paint or just want to. In the hard times I find that I am still able to create something beautiful out of nothing and that’s a lesson within itself, and in the good times I’m able to take my joyful experiences and bring them to life.
What would you do with $25,000?If selected, I’d use the $25,000 to invest back into my creative practice - expanding my studio space, exploring larger scale and more sustainable projects, and making my work more accessible through community workshops and local collaborations. They will give me the opportunity to dedicate more time to creating meaningful, nature- inspired pieces while continuing to grow as an artist and connect with others through art.
