I enjoy modern, realistic and abstract art that captivates your senses at first glance, that moves you and makes you reflect on the beauty of simplicity. I appreciate a simple brushstroke, or the way shadows are rendered in a painting, transforming it into a work of art.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from nature, from the sea, from people’s everyday faces and expressions. From the subtle hues of a sunrise or a sunset. From the fur of animals, the wings of a bird, and the rigid, translucent, and iridescent exoskeletons of insects.
What would you do with $25,000?My artistic work is just a hobby for now, but with this Award, i´m going to open my own Workshop explore the face paint of ancient indigenous tribes. I will carry out research and pay tribute to them by capturing their inspiring designs on a leather mask. To the makeup and headdresses used by aboriginal tribes of the world, I would pay an eternal tribute with my compositions.
