I have to create art. Period.

Receive Text UpdatesI enjoy creating metal based laser art, both surface marking, as well as deep engraving and sculpting with MOPA lasers. I make and finish metal work such as knives, firearms and objects. I have a background in firearms and am a professional armorer. I primarily work with titanium, brass, copper and various tool and knife steels. I refinish, modify and rework other people’s works and products, often changing aesthetics and function. I am an abstract and product photographer and musician.
Where do you find inspiration?Mostly in nature and pop culture. I also borrow heavily from tattoo design and often use dark art and imagery in my engravings. I enjoy using inspiration from film, video games and music. I am a massive David Lynch fan and have been obsessed with Fallout since ‘98.
What would you do with $25,000?I intend to invest in myself, equipment and a shop space. I would like to purchase a more efficient laser set up and preparatory tools for metal finishing such as blast cabinets and a vapor honing station. The prize money would be truly life changing for my family and I. Thank you.
