I enjoy creating art to try to capture images that are inspirational to me, both visually and spiritually. I hope others find beauty, too.

I enjoy taking photographs, mostly of nature. I enjoy hiking so I take most of my favorite shots on trails of mountains, wildflowers, trees, heart-shaped rocks, insects, and clouds against the landscapes. I find that nature has a lot of lessons to teach us, and I am open to listen as I try to capture the beauty. I also enjoy capturing photographs of people I adore in happy moments, a glimpse of their essence. Lastly, I like to write about yoga and how it relates to my life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration mostly in nature: on a trail, in the mountains or the desert, at the beach, watching clouds floating by, a beautiful sunrise or sunset, the moon, in wildflowers swaying in the wind, in insects and birds fluttering, and in the faces of those I love. I love driving and listening to loud music and watching the landscapes and the sky change. I also am inspired listening to music by artists who share deeply, and in my yoga classes by teachers who remind me to keep an open heart.
What would you do with $25,000?This money could change my life for the better. First, I would take my daughters to Switzerland to visit our friends who have shown us that this world is small and beautifully interwoven. I would take all the photographs I could dream of, and try to get some into an art show of some kind to share with others. Then I would use some of it to self-publish a book that I have been writing about my journey on and off my yoga mat. I would grow much closer to baby steps towards my dreams.
