My art is my own healing, everything I make comes with good energy so my workspace is filled with inspiration and prayers. Marci Cho.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Acrylic painting, sewing and sublimation work.
Where do you find inspiration?I often find inspiration with those who I work with and also mental health professionals who work with clients in addictions and mental health. Many authors such as Brené Brown, Dr. Gabor Maté, etc have offered me insight on visually learning the capacity to share a story thru paintings and creativity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue with implementing art therapy within my First Nation community doing paint nights and creativity workshops to offer those who want an outlet for healing. After completion of my Bachelors of Indigenous Social Work degree, this would assist in implementing an important resource for my home community with art therapy sessions along with counseling.
