Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I channel Spirit in my art, and feel as though my art begins long before I touch a canvas or any medium. It begins in my garden, when I'm reading my Oracle Deck, or when I'm having a conversation with a friend. Much of the time, the art is already there, it seems to appear, and I simply have to open myself and my heart to "see" it, and I draw and paint in what wants to be expressed. I love to create channeled works that are Soul Stories for people to experience and see themselves in the work.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in what others find mundane, in the in-between, and in the hard-good. I lean-in and pay attention to the little things, nature, signs and synchronicities, and feel moved by colors and whimsy and the mystical. The world around us is begging for us to look at it with a different lens, with the eyes of magic and wonder, the eyes of a child, and I'm most inspired when I am playing...like a child, dancing in the rain, or playing in my garden with the mud.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would invest the winnings into making more art and also in an idea called "Deluluville" a traveling street festival "That place over the rainbow", where people can experience art, music, and community without fear of judgment. I want to support new and established artists and change-makers and provide a space where people can commune in an environment that promotes harmony and evokes the imagination. Because I believe when we change our hearts we change the world.
