I am a multifaceted artist. I paint, write, entertain, take pictures and make jewelry. I love to explore my inner world and that around me through creating and also through connecting with others. I love painting spontaneous abstract paintings with lots of bold color and texture. The art I create and photographs I take often inspire poetry that I write to go with them. I love experimenting with so many different ideas and mediums.

Absolutely everywhere I look, within myself and out in the world. I’m inspired by connecting with others, seeing their creations and having good conversations about what drives us to create. I’m amazed at the art all around us sometimes in the most unexpected places. From rust on a sign post to fleeting reflections in rain on the street to graffiti on trains, murals on buildings. Art is everywhere and I can’t get enough so I make more.

I would love to open a studio/art gallery in my local community as we are working to revitalize our historic downtown. My hopes would be to ultimately transform a local space into an art center that many could enjoy. I would like to bring more art to my local community and give others opportunities to create and exhibit. I’m as passionate about supporting the arts as I am about creating my own original artwork.
