Just depends which way the rivers flowing at the time for me. Could be Oil painting, abstract or realism, could be music. I’m a multi-instrumentalist just recorded a solo album, Music is Matter. It could be photography, it’s a special kind of art to me. Or it could be writing or poetry, moved by candlelight. If I had to say my absolute favorite, would be music because if you’ve ever played music with a guy like Garth Hudson or a legend like Susan Tedeschi before an audience, nothing better!
Where do you find inspiration?My lifes passion has been around music, light, color, frequency, health and performance. My ultimate inspiration comes from nature, Culture, and philosophy. My motivation is to help people understand the connection between light, color, music and their bodies. To integrate the universal energies that society is held back from knowing about. Every note is a color and every color will resonate parts of our body. Health lies in its balance and understanding how these frequencies are spirit.
What would you do with $25,000?Art needs to be defended as essential and as for my small part, I do it with excellence, perseverance, and with a heart to teach. I dream of opening The World Arts Center (WAC). It will offer many artistic disciplines, aimed at the depth of soul and awareness of expression leading to excellence in self and community. Art is the temperament that will save the world!
