I’m a Philadelphia-based visual artist specializing in abstract and surreal artwork. I use colors and textures to connect with my audience.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating abstract pieces of art! I refer to my art as cloud art or “pareidolia”. “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon of seeing shapes in clouds. Just like clouds when we look up and see familiar shapes, patterns and, density forming; our creative minds are able to infer what may not have been intended. I’d like for any on looker to gaze at my artwork and find what’s personally relatable. That is where the connection is made!
Where do you find inspiration?I’m inspired by color. In most of my pieces I chose colors and let them guide me. I love the way colors mix and mesh as well as how they create stark contrast.
What would you do with $25,000?If I had $25,000, I would present and sell my artwork at exhibition spaces nationwide. I would also have prints made of a few of my paintings to resell. As those methods become lucrative I would have a website created for my artwork so that my creativity can be displayed worldwide.
