Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I find myself most drawn to acting. There is something about acting that takes us out of ourselves in ways that only art can. It has a unique way of sharing experiences and viewing the world in different lenses than our own. We can walk in other's shoes and live so many different lives. It opens up a reality of empathy that few can understand. There is something primal about it. It is ancient to all cultures. Acting has lead me to love the written word, falling in love with writing as I grow.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in my faith, family, friends and those I love. I am inspired by all genres and specifically enthralled by comedy. It has a way of communicating messages we wouldn't be as receptive to in other forms. There is a beautiful realism to including comedy in film and I've seen this through great artists such as Johnny Depp, Robin Williams and so many more. Everyone has a story that is just as important, I think we all deserve to be heard. I love to be a part of ensuring that.

What would you do with $25,000?

I have met many creatives over the course of my career. You can tell instantly when there is a love, a drive, and a necessity to creating art within different people. So many of the people I love look at creating as they do breathing. We need it to survive. It has been such a blessing to show up, support and create with these people in my work and through life. I want to gather these people together to make a meaningful film and chart a course for us through an industry craving depth & art.
