What is your favorite type of art to create?

I enjoy making mix media pieces that combine two dimensional painting, trompe l’oeil and three-dimensional elements.

Where do you find inspiration?

I’ve been attracted to mid-century advertising imagery. Wildly idealistic, everyone smiling, soda bottles sweating with condensation, chrome gleaming. Be it cars , soda pop or smokes everything looked glorious.

What would you do with $25,000?

Find a suitable workspace and secure my rent there for an entire year as long as possible, so I would not have to worry about that and I could focus completely on creating what I assume would be the best work I could possibly create if I’m not distracted.
