Abstract art speaks to me on an emotional level . It gives me space to interpret it in my own way. The images demonstrates a conversation between my self as the artist and the viewer.Using the pallet knife allowed me to discover different techniques to create various textures.This allowed the viewer to be captivated and connected .As a Jamaican there is a deep connection with vibrant colors rhythm and expressions , and abstract art demonstrate this without clear shapes or feeling box in .
Where do you find inspiration?Traveling gives me inspiration to create art because the cultures ,experiences, and locations with my creativity. Morning walks, daily commute evening sunsets are just a few examples in which the inspiration comes together place that I have visited broadened my horizon in a sense of showing influence around the world .
What would you do with $25,000?As an artist , I would use $25,000 as fuel for creativity and stability . It would be beneficial to up grade my current space into an art studio . I would host art classes for youth of all ages .Marketing my brand by becoming involve on social media while net working with others professionals will help tremendously .
