I create sculptural Venetian plaster works built from marble and limestone, layered for depth and movement. My focus is luminous, dimensional surfaces enhanced with burnished Murano glass—pieces that hold and reflect light in a way paint cannot. I’m drawn to subjects that feel refined and timeless—florals, coastal forms, and fluid compositions—executed with precision and a luxury finish.
Where do you find inspiration?I'm the 3rd generation from Italy. Grandpa and papa taught me this lost art when I was 12. Papa used to complain that the wall paint had to be redone and in Italy he didn't have to redo the walls in 40 years. 11 years old listening to this complaint I asked him to buy what he used in Italy,he did! He took me to a outdoor slab company and told me to choose one I really liked. He had a wood circle in his hand and said "I will create this to look exactly like the marble into a lazy susan" - he did!
What would you do with $25,000?Of ocourse I would share it with the families I know who need it and then I would open an art gallery since doing it out of my home for the last 20 years has destroyed it with all the dust from burnishing and plastering!
