Creating beautiful art is in my very soul. I cannot remember a time when I wasn’t creating. It makes me very happy to draw and paint.

People, as a subject, hold my interest & challenge me, & I also paint colorful Still Life’s & abstracts. Plus, Ive been writing a magical cookbook for the past several years! It is called “ Cherie Benders Glitter Book Of Magical Cooking” & I’m almost finished! Yay! I cooked & photographed 75 gourmet, healthy recipes & illustrated my book with my magical art! Lately, I’ve embellished my fine art: pastels & oils, with Swarovski crystals, adding another dimension of light.
Where do you find inspiration?Sometimes I get hit with an idea unexpectedly, which is the best! & I must must do it, or I’m inspired by looking at past masters & going to museums. Chilling in nature, observing the beauty, & music! always, I gotta have my favorite music playing when I work.
What would you do with $25,000?Something fantastically unusual I would hope! Plus, building a new living space, or travel but I always give back. I teach the children Art at Pearl City, the historical district dating from the 1920’s in Boca Raton. I’d love to help the children. That’s very important to me & Feeling the gratitude!
