Oil on canvas is my favorite. I just love the way it feels and it is so malleable. I enjoy creating details by turning my canvas upside down and constantly changing my perspective. I do illustrations as well but I think it's a different part of my brain at work when I use pen and ink and pencils. My expression is unbridled with oil. I feel free and fearless.
Where do you find inspiration?I am incredibly inspired by nature. I love all animals and plants. I find the sea magical and timeless. I grew up on a farm and I have always felt connected with nature.
What would you do with $25,000?I will help some family members, clear some debt. Publish my children's book and save the rest so I can have some breathing room.
