I’m drawn to the idea of duality—of creating pieces that invite a second look. There’s a quiet magic in that moment of discovery, when the viewer realizes there is more beneath the surface. Much like nature itself, my work is layered, fluid, and constantly shifting. My art represent interperpection.
Where do you find inspiration?Some inspiration is found from the renaissance times, especially the snake and apple. They used a lot of symbolism in their work to bring on the artist point of view. Through my art, I hope to create not just something to look at, but something to experience. I’m inspired by impressionist artist such as Cezanne, Van Gosh and Monet. I love how the paintings can come to life.
What would you do with $25,000?My next series will begin with a familiar symbol: the snake and the apple. A story rooted in Renaissance imagery, often representing temptation, knowledge, and the moment humanity stepped into awareness. But I’m not interested in retelling the story as it was—I want to bring it into today. What does the apple mean now? What is temptation in a world driven by technology? What are we consuming—and what is consuming us? I’m drawn to the parallels between Renaissance ideals of knowledge and today’
