I create art to express something within myself that’s unexplainable. It’s a world that helps us all communicate without judgement.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Photography is my love. I enjoy capturing images from unconventional perspectives, portraying it in ways that challenge typical perceptions. My work is about finding order and beauty in the grit, focusing on the raw interaction between light and weathered surfaces, whether that’s rusted metal, complex natural form or social interactions.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the quiet, overlooked corners of the world where time has left its mark. I am drawn to the mood of industrial landscapes and the way nature slowly reclaims man-made structures. Beyond the visual, I’m influenced by the atmosphere of psychological, character-driven dramas. This helps me translate a sense of mood and solitude into my images, focusing on the story told by textures and shifting light.
What would you do with $25,000?This would allow me to focus on my creative output during a challenging personal transition. I would invest in a high-performance laptop to handle the technical demands of large-scale photography & my upcoming media studies. Beyond that, I would curate a gallery exhibition designed as an inclusive space for those often excluded from the traditional art world. My goal is to create a platform where emerging or overlooked artists can share their work.
