Working with mixed media. I enjoy painting, fused glass and stained glass. Combining mediums allows me the opportunity to continually change things up and create some interesting, unique pieces.
Where do you find inspiration? All over the eastern shore of Virginia and specifically where I live on Chincoteague Island. The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge offers more inspiration than anyone would ever need. We have incredibly beautiful sunrises over the ocean and sunsets over the bay- the best of both worlds. And since we see are an international migratory flyway - we always have a plethora of beautiful birds coming through as well as the many permanent resident birds. Flora and fauna are abundant as well!
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate some of it to the animal rescue on our island. And truly I’ve never won anything of great value so I would need to give it some thoughtful consideration.
