My favorite type of art is whatever the mood dictates. I’m a weekly medium-switcher because I love the challenge of a new texture. I’m a daydreaming naturalist—a semi-realist who knows the rules of reality but chooses not to follow all of them.
Where do you find inspiration?I’m basically a professional treasure hunter for the mundane. I find it in the ditch, in the cracks in the sidewalk, or on adventures in the forest.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d direct the funds toward finishing some essential dental work. I recently hit the ceiling on my coverage, and my smile is still a work in progress! Once that’s settled, I’d pour the rest into my creative adventures. I’m itching to take my art on the road to more events, connect with fellow artists, and finally dive into a pottery class to add another medium to my weekly rotation.
