Creating is a way for me to express myself, and through self photography it makes it easy for me to put my thoughts and feelings in a photo.

My favorite type of art to create is self portraits in photography. I love being able to express myself in many of ways on camera. I gives me a sense of confidence that is difficult to bring in real life. Even with the non self portraits, I still put so much emotion and time in. I love alternative forms of photography so van dykes, emulsion lifts, destroying the negative, etc. they all add character to my photos and enhance the visual and metaphorical sense of the photo I am creating/taking.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration through my feelings, experiences, everyday life, and sometimes dreams. Though through my feeling is what is most important. I am the type of person who can't speak up with confidence or clarity, so, I find that inspiration to truly express my emotions. Knowing that when people see my work some understand what I am communicating is something I strive for in photography self portraits and other works I create.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 wisely as I am a sophomore in college trying to live my life comfortably and to the fullest extent. I would push it towards my future master's degree and other various educational needs. I would also use some of it for photography supplies cause that is also very important to me.
