I create art because I AM creativity personified; I cannot help but be creative in everything I do, in everything I see, in how I thinkā¦
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
That has changed over the years; once I would have you it was drawing (with graphite), but over the years as I have expanded my portfolio to include many different media, I couldn’t point to a favorite because media is like moods, and I tend toward fluidity. Overall, I think my favorite ‘type’ of art would be organic vs. planned… I often end up with something more amazing than I could have imagined.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in Life, in nature, in the work of other artists, in dreams, from my own imaginings… There is little that doesn’t inspire my creative response.
What would you do with $25,000?After my late partner died of cancer 4 years ago, I sold everything I could and bought an older RV, I didnt know where or even IF I wanted to be, and I had to get away from all the painful memories… but Towanda is now 26yo and while that is the prime of youth for us, for an RV it’s archaic… With $25k I could find a newer RV for the dogs and I to spend our days and night and to carry the memory of my beloved Robin with us, without having to worry about what repair needs doing next… Blessings All
