Big, ice, wood, current, mine. Creating the next generation of artists in my chosen mediums of Ice and Wood is my passion and purpose now. These are pictures of my works and many of my past classes and students.
Where do you find inspiration?My kids, students, the world I can see around me, the edge of the modern world crashing with nature, ancient aliens and their effect on our future.
What would you do with $25,000?I bought a small property 5 years ago that I’ve been putting all my extra time and money into to create wood sculpture. I teach ice sculpting to the youth and teach and guide youth teams every year for competition. I would use this money to upgrade my property to be able to teach wood sculpture to the youth in my local community. I’m on the beautiful Oregon coast and chainsaw carving is part of the culture here and a real avenue of money and expression for local artists. This is my life.
