Art has always been a huge part of my life. Both my parents are artists. They encouraged me to use art to express myself. Still do to today.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love using oil pastel, pen and paper, pretty much any medium I can put my hands on. I like art deco. My parents were both realists with their art. I like to look at things a little differently than most. Comic books actually made me even more inspired to be an artist. Greats like Jack Kirby and Todd McCarlane were my inspiration.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. Real world. Books. Movies. Everyday life inspires me. Also, life experiences. Unfortunately, pain can be the best inspiration. But, something lovely can come out of it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would most likely split it with my family. Try to help them out the way they’ve helped me out for all these years. If I was gonna splurge on myself in the slightest, it would probably be more art supplies. Or just catch myself up on bills for once. Starving artist and what not. I would be eternally grateful and I’d probably sit there for a week not even knowing what to do with it.
