Art Heals. It has bridged my soul to create wildlife fine art. I aim to educate, evoke emotion & inspire conservation around the world.

I love using watercolors to merge emotion through my work, often overlaying with other mediums. My work ranges from realism to abstract in very contemporary ways. Doing this allows me the opportunity to portray wildlife in more vivid perspectives, attempting to pull the viewer in with unexpected colors, shapes and interpretations.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration has come from my own wildlife photography throughout my travels. Africa was certainly a massive inspiration for my wildlife drawings and paintings. Seeing animals in their natural habitats is most thrilling and productive in understanding their behaviors and essence. There is also abounding inspiration in one’s backyard sanctuary. I’m inspired by “all creatures great and small.” I never take what might seem to some as “ordinary” subjects for granted.
What would you do with $25,000?Giving back to one of my favorite conservation groups would be a priority; having seen their work first-hand, I am reminded of the overall need in rehabilitating and reintegrating animals back into the wild. The rest of my money would go into lifting my art business off the ground with much needed and necessary equipment as well as an artist’s ongoing need for supplies. This will also benefit the young students I teach in my studio.
