I really enjoy painting , that is my first love , I have been spreading paint since I was very little but sculpture is my second . I screen print and block print as well with other things like special fx , costumes and set design sprinkled in. I adore painting old stories of myth and legend and fairy tales lost and forgotten. Sometimes my art can wander to the darker side of things , but I feel I bring a good solid balance of dark and light to the main ring .
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in my family and in all the artists before me who fill me with such fantastic creative breath. I find my inspiration in music and life and death. To share my view of humanity with the world is an amazing thing to be alive for. I live paint usually and gain inspiration from the people who interact and chat with me or the music on stage at a concert, my canvas comes with me .
What would you do with $25,000?I would branch my art outward and do more gallery shows to showcase myself in my community and beyond , I would be able to travel and amplify the onlookers to really do what I crave as an artist rather than to survive as one . I have projects that could finally be achieved and shared with humanity and maybe be able to help other artists along with me . My collective could grow immensely and expand into something truly wonderful.
