Creating comes natural and helps me express and process my feelings and emotions and enter a mind state of ease.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Though there are endless ways to create, my go to mediums are music, cooking and my ceramics practice.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature, trees, rocks, algae, moss, metal, oxidation, rust. Through an anthropological lens, reflecting on design, functionality and the desire to create objects that make life easier and more pleasant to navigate is a big driving force for inspiration for what I create.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000, I'd be able to invest into my studio space and practice, ceramic residences around the world, and live comfortably while expanding and honing my skills and body of work. I'd be able to help friends and family out as it would provide a great cushion to comfortably take more time to focus on my crafts and work on my projects.
