I love to create art deeply because you can put how you are feeling or what is going on in your life on anything and look at it everyday.

My favorite type of art to create is indigenous art and gothic/realism. I like to paint what everyone doesn’t see or pay attention to in the naked eye. I see the many colors used that no one thinks about, I want to have individuals feel some type of emotion when they see my art. I love to draw peoples attention and inspire them to make beautiful things with their creativity. People are very talented and should embrace it more often and I want to be able to help others do this.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration from powwows and my indigenous roots for many of my artwork, many from the dancers in the arena, the way their regalia’s and feathers move as they’re dancing really inspires me to make great paintings and drawings for everyone to enjoy and admire, especially for my family.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to make my first ever regalia to dance in the powwows I go to, my culture means so much to me that it would be an honor to be able to make my regalia to dance with my relatives and keep on my family’s tradition and continue their ways. I would gladly appreciate anything I get from being in this position.
