Art is a place for my mind to escape the pain I deal with on a daily basis. I have neurological problems and this silences that!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love to create what I am feeling in the moment. Everything stems from the emotional moments I go threw. Painting, to pen and pencil to chalk, I am there. The solitude and peace I feel, threw the pain is what gets me threw each day. All art I create is an emotional and physical escape from the constant pain I feel! I owe my life to my art, with out it, I couldn't face each and everyday! When I am done with each days creation. I can sit back and relish in the pain free moment.
Where do you find inspiration? From, conversation to other creators ,to mother nature, to the screaming emotions that flood my brain are what fuel me. Free my creativity and leave me 100s of pages of art. I create everyday for years now. I am disabled and spend a lot of time alone. My art, it's my outlet to the world. It's my freedom to feel as functioning and normal as the next. My inspiration comes from my battle with ongoing physical pain. I place to find beauty in my mind, and free the physical chains of pain!
What would you do with $25,000?I would finally move out of this little apartment I have lived in forever and settle into a home where I would actually have a window to look out of from my very own art room!! And I would get more art supplies!!! I would be so completely greatful, for Just one shot to even have my art out for all to enjoy!! This would only show me people really do enjoy my art, and know for once that something good can come out of the dark!!
