Art has always been a therapeutic release for me. Growing up shy and reserved, it became my way of expressing what I couldn’t say out loud.

I’m drawn to painting landscapes and animals, using an Impressionistic style to capture mood and movement. I like to add colors that are vibrant and giving additional meaning to the painting.
Where do you find inspiration?Lately, my inspiration has been coming directly from the emotions and challenges I’m experiencing in real time.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would allow me to establish a dedicated studio and outdoor space to host painting classes and community art events. I currently teach watercolor to senior citizens and travel to about 15 different locations, so this funding would help me bring those efforts into a permanent, welcoming space. My goal is to create an environment where people of all ages feel safe, comfortable, and inspired to explore art.
