I love big, bold splashes of bright colors. My aim is to spread light and love—to make cheery paintings that make people feel happy. My aim is to spread positivity and inspiring messages.
Where do you find inspiration?Travelling to countries outside the US gives me a strong creative boost! I find the beautiful colors in nature, including patterns in animals and flowers, intriguing —and the colors excite me! The amazing range of colors found in a sunrise or sunset—to the range of blues in the ocean—these are where I draw inspiration from. Andy Warhol’s bold commercialized pop art inspired me—fashion and music/musicians and other artists inspire me and give me the creative energy to birth new artwork into life
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in art materials and maybe even do some traveling to gain inspiration for new paintings. I recently went to Amsterdam and the beauty of the canals inspired me to paint as soon as I returned home to New York City. My dream would be to have an art studio to paint in. I know I would be more prolific with a space to just “create”!
