Tattoos and Custom Wood Design- no matter how many pieces I’ve done -it’s still intriguing to see the amazing details that it can create. Absolutely every part of a design is done completely by hand. People don’t seem to appreciate true art these days. No filter no prints no cut outs.. all by hand.
Where do you find inspiration?I seem to find inspiration in true life scenes as well as something as simple As sitting on my porch and watch the trees and/or birds. I also find it within myself. Sometimes, the most interesting pieces come from the mind and through all the emotions and feelings and trauma that I’ve endured in my life. The strongest inspirations come from the heart. It simply flows through me into my work.. but the best part is when it flows through others and gives them a glimpse into the life of the artist.
What would you do with $25,000?I served 12 yrs- prison from age 24-36. I am now 41-due to the trauma I have multiple mental illnesses and it restricts me from most “normal life” Activities. However, they couldn’t take my artistic abilities. Instead, I used it to perfect it. I would start a new life and open the shop that I’ve always wanted and for once be able to take care of my family instead of them having to take care of me for the last 41yrs. Jobs don’t take chances on ppl like me nor do big/good things happen.
