Creating is my way of processing life; stress, joy, grief, curiosity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I gravitate toward black and grey realism with a touch of neotraditional influence. I love working with animals, florals, and nature. I love bringing different elements to life in a soft, detailed, slightly moody way that really resonates with me.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration comes from everywhere, but I’m especially drawn to nature—wildlife, plants, and the way things grow and move. I also get inspired by emotion, energy, and the stories behind pieces I create for people and the tattoos that I do. That’s usually where my most meaningful designs come from.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest some into my tattoo studio and I would use some to take training towards becoming an art therapist. I want to be an art therapist because I believe in the healing power of intentional creation. Whether through tattooing or other forms of art, I’ve seen how meaningful it is when people can express their stories. I’d love to support others in my community through that process in a deeper, more guided way.
