Painting is the quiet proof that my heart was here.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I don’t think I have just one type Some of my work is meant for the world, and some of it is only meant for me. I paint from emotion ,sometimes it’s love, sometimes it’s pain, sometimes it’s something I don’t even have words for yet. My favorite pieces are the ones that feel like they hold something real inside them .like they’re not just seen, but felt.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in emotion love, loss, longing, and the quiet intensity of human connection. Real life fuels my work: fleeting moments, the way someone looks at you, the feeling of being seen or unseen. I’m also inspired by vintage film, gothic tones, and dramatic lighting anything that feels timeless, moody, and deeply human.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, I would give myself the chance to be a full-time artist. I’ve worked hard my whole life since I was 15, and I’ve always had to put my creativity around everything else. This would be an opportunity to finally put my art first to create without rushing, to grow, and to see how far I can really take it if I give it my full time and energy.
