I feel most alive when I create, especially exploring mental health and resilience. It connects me to something bigger than myself.

I create collage and also work with clay, mainly porcelain. I’m drawn to how it responds to pressure, time, and change. Through water etching and gentle manipulation, I let the material reveal its own story. Inspired by water and natural forms, my work explores fragility and strength, and is moving toward themes of mental health, neurodivergence, and resilience.
Where do you find inspiration?Structures found in nature are a profound source of inspiration for me. They hold stories that reveal themselves only when we slow down and look closely. I’m equally inspired by the human condition—the ways we bend to fit social constructs, masking to belong, sometimes cracking under pressure, yet remaining deeply resilient. I am continually exploring the question: where does hope come from?
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would help me rebuild after a period of mental health leave, easing financial strain while giving me the opportunity to move forward with intention. I would use it to create a home studio and focus on a body of porcelain work exploring mental health, neurodivergence, and resilience. My hope is to create work that helps others feel seen and contributes to a more inclusive and compassionate world.
