My art is how I see the world, the chaos, the hope and the joy.

I lean towards process-based, nature-collaborative art - the kind one is not fully in control. Work like cyanotype, botanical dyeing, rust, copper monotypes because they he materials have agency.
Where do you find inspiration? In quiet observation of the natural world- light shifting through leaves, textures of rust and soil, slow imprint of time. I find inspiration in processes I can't fully control, where nature becomes a collaborator.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in essential equipment and materials to expand my process-based practice. This includes three 6'x4' copper pieces to be welded into a screen, along with natural dyes, textiles and studio tools. Produce a monograph documenting my work allowing to share my process, archive my pieces and reach a wider audience.
