My favourite art is capturing the quiet, honest beauty of the land I’ve called home for thirty years. Growing up country taught me to appreciate the way golden hour hits the shorelines. For me, it’s more than just a view; it’s about honouring the rugged, peaceful spirit of the place that raised me.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is rooted in the place that raised me. It’s the feeling of 'home' that I try to capture, not just a pretty view, but the soul of the land that has seen me grow from a country girl into a mother. Every photo is like a love letter.
What would you do with $25,000?Winning would allow me to pour back into the things that ground me. I’d first invest in professional gear to better capture the cinematic beauty of our Valley. More importantly, I’d tuck a portion away for my children’s futures and give back to our local hospital, a cornerstone of my community. For me, this money isn't just a prize, it’s a way to strengthen my art, provide for my family, and say thank you to the place that has given me so much over the last thirty years.
