I think of everything in terms of distortion, like an instrument. The tonality and stainlike behavior of it, to translate life to feeling.

My favorite art to create is musically driven, taking emotions from a piece that I’ve written and putting them into an oil painting or oil pastel drawing. People and landscape with animals are primarily my favorite subjects.
Where do you find inspiration?through heavy raw guitar tones, distortion, and extreme bouts of emotion in the moment. I find inspiration through grit and grind, the ugly, and the melancholic. beauty in the stain, a concept that intrigues me. I draw inspiration from bands like nirvana, jejune, Melvin’s, and from painters like Paul cezanne, Richard diebenkorn, and el Greco.
What would you do with $25,000?Put it towards finishing up my bachelors and towards my masters degree in fine arts as well. I will also get some more supplies for painting, new flathead brushes and paints. Also to help pay for my leg surgery that I will be getting in a few weeks as I am completely unable to walk on my right leg at the moment.
