My work blends painting, graphic design and printmaking through serigraphy. Each hand-pulled screen introduces imperfections, smudges, ink spots and misalignments that I embrace as part of the process, giving every piece its own character. My approach is shaped by years of practice and instinct, where memories and environments influence my work over time. I layer color and imagery across surfaces like paper, metal, glass and wood, using color as a constant to express emotion and meaning.

A road less traveled… My path as an artist has been anything but smooth, requiring me to trust my instincts and create what I see, no matter how long it takes. At its core, my work is for myself. Engaging with other artists and experimenting across mediums has fueled my growth and inspiration. Being part of the Palm Springs art community has been especially meaningful, offering connection and insight. I’ve learned to stay open, be patient with the process and remain committed to my vision.

With $25,000, I would invest in marketing within the desert art scene to increase awareness. I would also expand community engagement by offering free silkscreen workshops to the local youth schools. Our Art Walk, held on the second Thursday of each month, would be enhanced through collaboration with neighboring studio artists, along with the addition of food trucks and live music. I would further promote the event through local media to support and grow The Lofts Art District in Palm Springs.
