My work can be best described as Neoclassic Romanticism. I paint people and animals mostly inside of a narrative from mythological, Historical, or Biblical characters. I also enjoy painting video game characters as if they are real, and bring them to life on the canvas.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration comes from stories about people. Whether it is classical literature, fantasy, film, The Bible, historical figures, or mythology. We connect with eachother through storytelling and our shared experiences, that's what we love so much about film and theatre. For me the canvas is a stage for me to put my players into a scene to tell a story to my viewers.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to have a down payment for a house, so I can work on my paintings at home and continue building my career. It will help me get a start instead of spending all of my commissions on rent.
