Creating keeps me alive. If I don't paint life around me becomes dull and colorless.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love taking recycled pieces and parts such as old frames, wood, bottle caps, old paint brushes and transform them into bright colorful works of art. I also make the unexpected things into art. I have painted cars, a boat, a silo (yes a grain silo) , camper, and a building.
Where do you find inspiration?Everything around me provides inspiration. From the colors of the flowers to the four legged friends . Their movement, color, anti s always creates more ideas in my head to fill a canvas.
What would you do with $25,000?I have a folk art garden that I have built and created. Some of those funds would be used to install some other crazy stuff. I already have a painted silo.... the other would be to travel to visit some of those places that have inspired me.
