I transcend space and time when I am creating. I have to create, it eats at me if I'm not creating. It's something within trying to get out.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Modern contemporary, American traditional.
Where do you find inspiration? From within. From my grandmother mostly. She could create anything she could see. She was the only inspiration. It's the place I can escape to. Nothing matters when I'm in that state of mind. I was a troubled kid, so when I was in trouble (often). I would fill a page with images from my head. I got positive reactions, so I kept doing it. Art has kept me safe. I am inspired by death. I know it will come. I want my children to be proud of their father.
What would you do with $25,000?I would give it to my wife. I would spend it all on precious metal clay (gold) and a few fine cut gems ( ruby & opal). I would create wearable, possibly functional pieces of fine art. Skulls most likely.
