I enjoy sketching in perspective, especially highly detailed compositions that allow me to fully immerse myself in the process. I often use hatching techniques and occasionally incorporate color. As an architecture student, I am naturally drawn to sketching buildings. I also have a strong passion for photography, with a focus on film. I enjoy experimenting with angles, as they can transform an image, and capturing raw, candid moments where people seem fully present.
Where do you find inspiration?Most of my inspiration comes from reflecting on my younger self and the challenges I faced growing up. I’ve developed a keen eye for details and moments that can be transformed into meaningful work. Pushing myself to complete each piece is especially important to me, it brings a sense of accomplishment and excitement, reminding me of what I am capable of through patience, focus, and dedication to the things I do.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the prize to help complete my education and cover essential financial needs. I would also support my parents in easing family expenses and invest in my siblings’ artistic and musical talents. The remaining funds would be saved for future opportunities, such as internships, art exhibits, jobs, study abroad programs, and creative resources I will lose access to after graduating.
