I love creating because it keeps me curious. It keeps me listening. It turns uncertainty into exploration and chaos into meaning.

As a filmmaker, graphic artist, photographer, and designer, I don’t see these disciplines as separate languages. They all orbit the same instinct: to observe deeply and translate feeling into something tangible. A frame, a composition, a rhythm, a color palette, a silence. Each medium becomes another lens for understanding the world and my place inside it.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my inspiration comes from people and place. Growing up around Oklahoma landscapes and communities, I became fascinated by the tension between beauty and hardship, tradition and change. Rural towns, forgotten buildings, rivers, backroads, music venues, and conversations with strangers all carry stories that feel deeply human to me. I’m inspired by the resilience of ordinary people and by the emotional weight hidden inside everyday life.
What would you do with $25,000?A $25k grant would give me the ability to fully realize my film with the depth, and artistic integrity it deserves. Independent filmmaking often exists in a constant balancing act between creative vision and limited resources. This support would allow me to move beyond survival mode and focus fully on storytelling, visual craft, and the emotional impact of the work itself. A large portion of the funding would go directly toward post-production needs: we are almost ready for the finishing house.
