I create art to give form to emotion—transforming lived experience into something seen, felt, and shared. Topics that are important to me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite work is art that pushes beyond the expected—pieces that feel new, purposeful, and deeply meaningful. I’m drawn to creating work that explores emotion, resilience, and transformation rather than purely decorative imagery. Whether in sculpture or painting, I strive to create something that connects, challenges, and leaves a lasting impression.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere—through dreams, quiet moments of reflection, and the energy of museums and galleries. I’m deeply influenced by what I observe, from human experience to nature and shifting environments. Travel, conversations, and memory all play a role. I absorb these moments and reinterpret them, allowing both the seen and the imagined to guide my work into something meaningful and new.
What would you do with $25,000?With this funding, I would expand my Sisters of Strength collection, creating larger, more ambitious works using durable materials like bronze and sustainable metals. It would allow me to hire studio support, increase production, and explore new mediums. I would also share the work more broadly through exhibitions, making the collection more accessible while deepening its message of resilience and empowerment.
