I live and love to paint, I love painting outdoors, or wherever I'm at, i see art, I can't just drive down the road and not see something that gets me wanting to start a new painting, whether it's shapes, colors, old or new I see a painting waiting to be painted and shared. It is my passion my love. I love to paint in oil, acrylics and watercolor . I will paint on anything that I have available. I recycle windows, wood, tin, if it's there I paint on it. Even a child's face is paintable.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the small things, in a tree, in the sky, in a cornfield, on the prairie, in the rain, but mostly in the ordinary, life is one big inspiration. Look up in the trees, the various colors of greens, the birds, their nests, it's all art. An old building falling down, the graveyard they all have stories waiting to be told. I put brush in paint and paint on paper..... these are my tools of inspiration, a story to be told. I see art everywhere!
What would you do with $25,000?I would teach more art to anyone who wants to learn how to paint. To see someone actually do a painting and be completely blown away by what they have done is the best gift of all. I would like to able provide the things that maybe stops a person from learning art and provide supplies so they can accomplish a dream that they've always had to try something for them. This talent that I'm blessed with is a gift from God and meant to be shared. That is what I want to do.
