“Art helps me make sense of the world—transforming emotion into color that comforts, challenges, and inspires connection.”
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating art that transforms emotion into color. My favorite work begins with the energy of nature—earth, water, movement—and becomes abstract forms that reflect change, resilience, and the beauty I see in the world.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the simple moments that fill me with gratitude—looking at the sky, walking and giving thanks, watching the water move at the beach. Nature reminds me to slow down, breathe, and translate those feelings into color and form.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to build a community art program or foundation that supports underserved young students. I want to give them access to supplies, mentorship, and a creative space where they can express themselves, grow with confidence, and discover the power of art.
