I don't really play favorites with mediums. I flow between oil painting, sculpture, and jewelry depending on what the concept demands. Ultimately, my favorite art to create is anything that captures invisible energy and translates it into a tangible form. Since my practice is deeply rooted in Chinese metaphysics, the thrill for me is taking those unseen frequencies and giving them a physical presence, no matter which tool or medium I happen to be using at the moment.
Where do you find inspiration?Gemini said I pull a lot of my inspiration from the tension between extremes, especially human psychology. Right now I'm deep into a series exploring the seven capital sins and how those heavy, ancient concepts manifest in modern times. But honestly, just the everyday whiplash of bouncing between the grit of Brooklyn and the intensity of Buenos Aires keeps me hyper-observant.
